Each Spring the American Art Awards board selects the 25 Best Galleries And Museums in the United States. Their selections are based on years established, industry reputation, online buzz, socially relevant exhibits, educational programs, represented artists as well as artist, client and visitor references.
It was revealed in a Huffington Post exclusive on Thursday that this year the American Art Awards have selected Bruce Museum as Best Gallery Or Museum for the world famous state of Connecticut. President of the American Art Awards Thom Bierdz explains:
“We are so impressed at the history and legacy of Bruce Museum’s 109 years. Beautiful structure, beautiful location; high on a hill overlooking Greenwich Harbor. Beautiful objects; nearly 15,000! Classic to contemporary paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints and photographs – and state of the art multimedia compositions. The accreditation from the American Association of Museums, an honor granted to fewer than 5% of all museums, always validates for us, and Bruce Museum continues to receive honors and accolades, having been frequently voted the best museum in Fairfield County. We at American Art Awards proclaim it Best In Connecticut, 2017, and also one of the 25 Best Galleries And Museums in America.”
